Dad murders girlfriend during visitation with his 7-year-old daughter (East St. Louis, Illinois)

Hmm. I don't think a murder-suicide is really an appropriate bonding activity during visitation with your 7-year-old daughter, do you? But apparently dad TOMMIE HILL felt differently. It seems he got into a "domestic dispute" with his girlfriend while on the Interstate, and as the woman ran from car to car begging for help, he shot her down like a rabid dog. Meanwhile, his 7-year-old daughter, apparently from another relationship of Daddy's, was sitting in the car. Since the girlfriend was not the girl's mother, this appears to be some sort of custody/visitation arrangement. So is the media going to tell us what judge or court whores approved this arrangment? Don't bet on it. Well, at least this poor traumatized little girl won't have to visit Daddy anymore, since he thoughtfully offed himself after mowing down his girlfriend.

Motorists witness murder-suicide

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill., June 21 (UPI) -- Illinois motorists were witnesses to an apparent murder-suicide as a woman pleaded for help before being shot by a man who then shot himself, authorities said.

A 25-year-old Cahokia, Ill., woman ran from car to car on Interstate 64 Sunday begging for help before her boyfriend, following her, shot her in the head then turned the gun on himself, The Belleville (Ill.) News Democrat reported.

Illinois State police identified the gunman as Tommie Hill, 25, of East St. Louis, Ill. His victim was identified as Ashley Oliver.

Hill was pronounced dead at the scene, while Oliver was taken to a local hospital where she was declared dead, police Master Sgt. Dave Wasmuth said.

The incident was being treated as a murder-suicide growing out of a domestic dispute that apparently started in Hill's car on the highway, Wasmuth said.

Hill's 7-year-old daughter was still in the car when the shooting took place, police said.

The child, who was not Oliver's, was returned to the care of her mother, authorities said.
