Danish law giving child custody to violent fathers (Denmark)

The headline bends over backwards to be politically correct and gender "neutral"--but let's speak plainly. This is about violent fathers using mandatory joint custody laws (which were inspired by the fathers rights propaganda /lie that "every" child "needs" a father--no matter how addicted, sick, neglectful, or just plain evil he is). This is the logical result. Abuser daddies get full custody. But if you read the fathers rights literature going back 30 years or so, this was the goal all along. These guys don't give a sh** about "joint" or "shared" anything. They want total control.

Danish law giving child custody to violent parent

by Letizia Orlandi - 10.22.2013

There is something rotten in the state of the Danish legal system, which presides over child custody in cases of family abuse. A growing number of judgments by national courts are placing the young victims of abuse in the custody of the abusive parent. A decree by the Committee on Petitions of the European Parliament has underlined the situation and has blamed the Parental Responsibility Act – legislation that makes contact with both parents mandatory. This results in situations where mothers are helpless to protect their children from violent fathers. The law gives violent fathers rights that can include full custody of the child. The law therefore seems too severe on mothers, especially on foreign mothers. Women from another EU country or from a third country are regularly discriminated against by the authorities in custody cases that involve domestic violence.
