Dad, grandfather charged in sexual abuse of daughter (United Kingdom)

UNNAMED DAD. Notice that there is no mention of any women (mothers) in the family. An oversight? Or maybe not?

Pedophiles very often strip mothers of custody. This may be the case here.

POLICE are investigating allegations that a seven-year-old Hunter girl has been sexually and indecently assaulted repeatedly by her father and grandfather.

The girl’s father, aged in his 30s, is currently in custody after being charged in January with three counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child aged under 10.

All three counts relate to his daughter and police will allege they have found video footage of at least one of the assaults.

Detectives have also allegedly seized naked photographs of the girl.

The girl’s grandfather is on strict conditional bail after being charged on Monday with the indecent assault of another girl, 11, who is not related to his granddaughter but is closely associated to her.

It will be alleged that the indecent assault was also captured on a mobile phone by a third party, who has handed it over to police.

Detectives are continuing to investigate allegations that the grandfather, aged in his 70s, assaulted his granddaughter without the knowledge of his son.

They are also confident of laying more charges against the girl’s father once seized computers and other electrical equipment are examined by experts.

Detectives charged the father in January following an intensive investigation into the complaints. He has already faced court twice and continues to be refused bail.

He will reappear in Newcastle Local Court next month.

The grandfather was interviewed by detectives on Monday before being charged with the single count of aggravated indecent assault on the 11-year-old girl.

He will also appear in court next month.
